To all of you who attended the benefit luncheon, or sent in a cash donation through Gary or Dawn or through Paypal or WAMU! The outpouring of support for Kelley Anne truly is phenomenal. She and James are overwhelmed and can't even begin to thank everyone.
We had 63 people who attended the luncheon. It was a very nice day and as one who expect, quite emotional. It was a celebration of Kelley Anne's accomplishments. We had pictures of her EVERYWHERE! Which we all know, she would have hated. The event began with appetizers and lots of Bloody Mary's being served. Then we sat down for a brief program to thank and recognize all the people who have helped and contributed so much. You all know who you are! Lunch was served at 2:00pm. It was a lovely buffet and the wine was flowing! The entire event was captured on video tape for Kelley Anne's viewing at some point. Dessert followed and we emptied the banquet room by about 3:45pm. It was a great day! We were all surrounded by so much love and support - I just wish she could have been there.
