Hello my beautiful sister,

I think about you all day long, my heart is so heavy with sadness and guilt for not being with you. I have spent many days with you already, but you were not aware of your surroundings. I want so badly to get on a plane and run to your side and hug you. I will be there soon, but untill then I will continue to think and pray for you. We all miss you. Connie, Curtis, katie and Nick

December 14, 2004 - From Nancy Holland, mother-in-law of James' sister Deborah (for those who would not know otherwise).

Hello my dear sweet girl-
What miracle you are!! I am so grateful to the one who created you that He spared you, that James and the rest of us still have you in our lives. Your friends are so right my dear, God does have a plan for your life. He definitely isn't finished with you yet, otherwise from the looks of your car, you would not be here today.
The comments of your friends and relatives show how much you have already touched the lives of so many people with your loving ways, sweet smile and laugh, and your genuine friendship. Not many people in their lifetime have the privilege of knowing the extent of their love and positive effect on the lives of so many others. How blessed you are to have so many loving friends and family.
Whatever you have to go through during your recovery, remember all those who love you and need your presence in their lives.
I remember our visit this past summer at Auntie Bobbie's and what fun we had talking. I would love to live near you so we could visit more. Arkansas is so far away. I know you are a spunky feisty gal and that you will fight to get well through the tears, laughter and bouts of depression. It's all one package and you need to remember during the rough times that no matter how difficult or painful it gets, it won't always be this way, it WILL get better and easier and James will be there loving you all the way. I hear you can't keep a Blue Devil down.
Our church is praying for you and I look forward to the day you and James can travel to Arkansas for your first visit here. As they say down south, "We'll treat you so many ways, you're bound to like one of 'em. Love and kisses to you and James. God bless all of you out there supporting this tremendous couple. And, thank you Steve for all your wonderful updates and to Paul for his help. I will write again soon.

Hello my precious sister-in-law, I spent only a few days with once and you became a very important part of my heart. Kelly Anne I know that inside you is a lady who will never give up and for that I thank God. For you to have survived lets me know that you are very special not only in Gods eyes but in all who know and love you. I know how special you are cause you captured James's heart and that was a great feat in it's self. As you recover know that I am on my knees in prayer for you and that we are all waiting the day we can dance together again and you will dance. When times are hard and painful for you remember that we would gladly share your burden if we could. And for James thank-you for who you are and how you love your wife. When you need me call and I will do my best to help you and know that my love and prayers are with you always as you to recover from this. I love you both, so be strong in what you both have to conquer and we will celebrate together. Your sister-in-law Renee(Bruce's wife)
